Matt Wyss, vice president and senior farm manager, joined Heartland Bank and Trust Company in 2008, and has over 15 years of farm management experience. Matt assists clients with their farm assets to meet their objectives under cash rent, custom and crop-share lease arrangements, actively managing over 90 farms totaling more than 24,000 acres. Matt additionally appraises rural property throughout Illinois for estates, trusts and individual landowners.

Matt earned his Bachelor of Science in agricultural and consumer economics from the University of Illinois. He also holds the Accredited Farm Manager (AFM) designation, is a licensed Certified General Real Estate Appraiser, licensed real estate broker and is a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) licensed drone pilot.

Matt lives in Washington where he is active in the community, church and the family farm. He is actively involved in the Normal Rotary Club where he serves as Club Treasurer.
