We count on you to report things as soon as you become aware there’s a problem.

Safety Tips for Your Debit Card

We’ve heard most of these tips before, but sometimes it bears repeating.

  • Don’t write your Personal Identification Number (PIN) on your card, don’t keep it in the same wallet as your card, and of course, don’t let anyone see or use your PIN.
  • Have your card ready when you approach the machine so you’re not distracted by looking for it.
  • Don’t count your money in front of the ATM. Put it in your pocket and count it later.

* The owner of a non-Heartland ATM may charge a fee for its use.
